Fall! :)

We went for a walk last evening. It was cool and cloudy outside and a bit breezy. But, it was beautiful out! The chill in the air and the scent of wood and leaves burning made it for a wonderful walk! Oh, and the company was good too! It was so peaceful and made me realize just how much I love fall!

Owning up!

Whatever happened to taking responsibility for our actions? Whatever happened to saying "I'm sorry"? What ever happened to honesty?

Are these morals and actions of the past? If so, we are in a lot of trouble. Yesterday at school, someone hit my car. Not the type of hit that made a dent but the type of hit that left a bunch of black and blue scuff marks on my back panel and bumper. No note was left- nothing, nada, zilch. Does it make me made that my car was scuffed- you bet, but it makes me really made that they could have cared less to own up to it. It's not like I would call the cops or anything, I just would like a simple..."I did this and I am sorry.". What happened to that? Why don't people take responsibility for their actions anymore? I find it a sad state of affairs!

Laundry

So it's Friday...TGIF and all that happy stuff. Today is my "get everything done", "have fun" day because I work the next three days. I have quizzes to do for Developmental, studying and a paper for Micro, laundry, cleaning and various things I have to do. Does not sound fun does it? So here is my rant for the day... I HATE laundry. It is the one thing that is never ever really completed because there is always something to be washed. I can clean the house, make an awesome meal, do homework, etc and feel like I have completed something. But that is never the case with laundry... it is ALWAYS there and I hate it! Ahhh, I feel better now!

Texting and driving...

So, I will admit I have done it, I don't agree with it, but I have picked up my phone while driving to send a quick text. I have received my wake up call though and will not do that again! It ranks up there with DUI to me and it is just not worth the risk. I came across a very graphic and disturbing youtube video today that is a PSA from our neighbors across the ocean. Check it out if you think texting while driving is an appropriate means of communication.
